In the Community
PCBP understands that good business practices must take into account what is good for our communities. From our roots as a family business, we have extended the idea of family to reach out to each of our employees and into the larger communities in which we operate. Involvement comes from every level and manifests itself in programs that span the divisions. From donating building materials for Sacramento’s Ronald McDonald house, to the American Lung Association of Sacramento-Emigrant Trails Bike Trek, to full branch participation in the company’s Adopt-A-Family program, to local community renovation projects and other numerous group events in every community, our employees believe in giving back to the communities that support us.
Pacific Coast Building Products Foundation
In May 1999, Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc. (PCBP) created a charitable foundation with one of the largest gifts given in Sacramento’s history to the Sacramento Regional Foundation. The Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc. Charitable Foundation focuses on children’s services with part of the funds reserved as a permanent endowment for charity.
